EARLY INTERVENTION

Early intervention services are a range of targeted services to help young children with a view to mitigate the effects of their disability, thereby increasing their chances of success in school and life overall. Early intervention services usually last up to age 6 and include:

  • Physical skills development
  • Cognitive skills development
  • Communication skills development
  • Adaptive and activities of daily living skills
  • Social or emotional skills
  • Sensory processing skills
