The event was a vibrant tapestry of various engaging games and activities designed to cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our students. From classic races to backward walking challenges, thrilling ball-in-the-basket contests to one-minute games, there was something for everyone. Beyond just promoting physical fitness, these activities aim to instill the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendship in our children.

What really set this year's Sports Day apart was the enthusiastic participation of not only our students but also our dedicated teachers. Their involvement adds an extra layer of encouragement and support, motivating the children to excel in every sport they play. wherein Ali kwaja will distribute the prizes.
Looking ahead, we are pleased to announce that the award ceremony will be held on 30th March 2024. We are honored to present the award to Dr. Ali Khwaja, Founder and Director of Banjara Academy as our Guest of Honour. We warmly invite all parents, guardians, and well-wishers to join us on this memorable occasion and celebrate the achievements of our students.

This momentous occasion was dedicated to the memory of the esteemed Late Sri. Amarnath and Late Smt. Soundarya, whose legacy of compassion and dedication inspired the creation of this noble institution under the registered trust Amara Sathvika Social and Education Trust.

The foundation aims to cater to the needs of children with intellectual disabilities, fostering their growth, development, and integration into society. At the heart of the inauguration stood Sri S.R. Vishwanath, MLA of Yelahanka, Bangalore North, whose presence dignified the occasion and symbolized the unwavering support of the community towards this noble cause. As he unveiled the foundation, his words resonated with a profound sense of commitment to nurturing a more inclusive society where every child, irrespective of their abilities, finds a place to thrive and excel.

The competition is virtual and the prizes ceremony will be conducted on 21/8/21.

Registeration is FREE and open until 18/08/21.

Rules

  • Record a video of your child singing a patriotic song. Language : Any language of preference. Time : Min 1 minute; Max 2 minutes.
  • A submission form will be sent to you via Mail, where you can upload the video.

Intro: The Great Sculptor series is a motivating programme in the form of an award and interview series that aims to recognize the inspiring journey of parents with differently-abled children.

The Great Sculptor series is a motivating programme in the form of an award and interview series that aims to recognize the inspiring journey of par ents with differently-abled children. It is a one-of-a-kind initiative by Amara Soundarya Foundation to highlight the efforts behind the smile of every differentlyabled child

Like a seed that is sown, children bloom from the nurture and love received from their parents. Every differently abled child and their parents have numerous hurdles to overcome.

We believe that helping a differently-abled child to lead a socially and economically independent life may be tenuous, but it is not impossible. The series aims to motivate and inspire every parent to believe in their child's abilities and instil an unwavering confidence in them. The interviews are conducted by our very own founder and chairperson, Mrs. Nirmala Amarnath. The event is conducted at 11am on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

The first episode was conducted virtually on August 15th,2020 and with three successful interviews so far, we hope the love and support extended will only flourish and inspire many more parents.

    Our esteemed guest of this month - Smt. Geeta,is the mother of Alamelu Venkatesan, who's hard work and perseverance has helped her daughter Ammu to shine bright and stand tall in the world. Ammu was born with a rare kind of problem called congenial myopathy that mainly affected her limbs. They have raised their daughter to be a post graduate in Commerce, and also helped her complete MCA & ICWA Backed by their constant support and guidance, today Alamelu is a working, married woman, a mother to a young boy and is interested in a diverse range of activities from academics to fine arts, knitting, painting, embroidery and even music.
